NDOT’s $40 million viaduct rehabilitation project included mainline deck repairs, joint replacements and seismic retrofitting along I-515 (US 95) in downtown Las Vegas. During this yearlong project, the bridges at Desert Inn Road and Eastern Avenue were demolished and reconstructed. A new southbound auxiliary lane from the Spaghetti Bowl was added to provide additional space for motorists to accelerate before entering I-515 traffic.
